MIT University, Sikkim is a newly established private university located in the beautiful state of Sikkim, India. Our university was officially recognized through the Management and Information Technology University, Sikkim Act, 2024 (Act No. 11 of 2024), which received the Governor’s approval on June 12, 2025.

Our main campus is located in Melli, Namchi District, Sikkim, providing students with a peaceful learning environment surrounded by the natural beauty of the Himalayas. We are building a modern campus that will span across at least 10 acres of land, creating a world-class educational facility.

MIT University is established by the Institute of Management & Technical Studies Foundation (IMTS Foundation), a registered organization under the Companies Act, 2013. Our foundation is committed to bringing quality higher education to the youth of Sikkim and the entire Northeast region of India.
